Agree on the turns
Give each person four counts. One makes a simple action and pauses before the other responds. Agree on no contact and no unexpected change of distance. Hands and gaze can make the turn-taking clear.
Respond to one feature
The second person chooses direction, pause, scale, or rhythm to respond to. The reply can echo or contrast. After a round, explain which feature you chose rather than assuming both people understood the same connection.
Swap roles
Swap the roles and notice whether you now attend to a different detail. Keep one clear exchange from each person and record it on the cards as material for a phrase you can revisit.
Make it a small practice
- Agree on four counts per person and a clear pause.
- Respond to one feature at a time.
- Swap roles and keep two repeatable exchanges.
